She completed her intern year in internal medicine and her dermatology residency at the University of Maryland.
Dr. Erickson’s career is marked by her significant contributions to dermatologic research, with numerous publications in esteemed journals covering melanoma, skin cancer treatment, drug rashes, and skin infections. Driven by a personal mission, Dr. Erickson pursued dermatology after losing her grandmother to metastatic melanoma at age 60.
