Molly Benedict, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Molly Benedict, is excited to join the Georgia Skin Specialists team and continue to provide compassionate, inclusive care to both adult and pediatric patients in the Atlanta area. She grew up in Atlanta where she attended The Westminster Schools, graduating Cum Laude in 2010. She attended the University of South Carolina, graduating in 2014 with degrees in sociology and Spanish. She graduated from Samford University Accelerated Second Degree Nursing program in Birmingham, Alabama in 2016. After 6 years of nursing, she then graduated top of her class from Georgia State as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Molly is passionate about providing care to all types of patients with dermatologic needs. She is particularly interested in preventing and managing skin cancers, as she herself has had melanoma. Valuing the LGBTQ+ community, Health at Every Size (HAES), and minority care, she is ready to work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans. In her free time, Molly enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and cat, Zeke. Being in nature, exploring new cities, brewery hopping, or making greeting cards are her favorite ways to spend the day.
